Privacy Policy: Send Celebration for Gmail

Last updated: 2026-10-13

Send Celebration for Gmail ("the extension") shows a short celebration effect when you send an email in Gmail on the web. This policy explains what the extension does with data.

Summary

The extension does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. It makes no network requests.

What the extension accesses

• Gmail pages (mail.google.com). The extension runs on Gmail only to notice when you press Send. It watches the Send button and whether the compose window closes. It does not read, store or transmit the content, subject, recipients or attachments of your emails, your inbox, or your contacts.

What the extension stores

• Settings (theme, sound, volume, quiet hours, daily goal, on/off) are saved with Chrome's storage.sync. Chrome may sync these between your own browsers if you are signed into Chrome with sync enabled. This is handled by your browser; the extension's developer never receives it.
• Game stats (score, level, send counts, combo, badges, last message shown) are saved with Chrome's storage.local on your device only. They contain no email content.

You can delete the stats at any time with "Reset stats" on the options page, or by removing the extension.

Network, analytics and third parties

• No analytics, advertising, tracking or error reporting.
• No remote code. All code, the font and the sounds (generated on your device) are included in the extension package.
• No data is shared with third parties.

Permissions

• storage: save your settings and stats as described above.
• Access to https://mail.google.com/*: required to detect when you send an email.

Children

The extension is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated and the changes will be described in the extension's release notes.
